I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your letter No.66 yesterday's date, transmitting for my explanation and remarks, a communication addressed to His Excellency The Governor by Mr. Jones Reenen, Consul for the United States of America, setting forth certain grievances alleged to have been uttered towards him by the Court, on the 22nd instant.
